Here is my own take on Catwoman, my wife Debbie likes her and I felt like doodling something a tad different...

Candleman, looking a tad tough with some big sticks he has picked up from somewhere...

And last, but by no means least, The Moose, armed to the teeth, but a little stuck for words...

All hail The Moose and his amazing guns akimbo action!
The Moose as a character has existed for a while and had a checkered history!
Starting out when I was in Art College in about 2001 where he was created he was probably my first original comic character and indeed my first attempts at drawing sequential art revolved around him.
The Moose followed me to university where many of my friends loved him as an idea, so much so, that several of us chose to develop him as an animated TV series, a journey that would see him owned by a production company for several years and charming the likes of Nickelodeon and Warner Bros, but unfortunately, due to lack of UK funding, to no avail.
The Moose fell short of his screen dreams, and now he’s returning to the printed page, I feel, where he belongs, and with me, I hope, a better artist, he will get the treatment he deserves.

This is most likelly the cover for The Moose first issue for October, rocks don't it!
The whole bacon thing! Debbie mad some joke and used the phraze 'face full of bacon' and I loved it so much I think it may be the new label for the comics, replacing Pink Ink.

Inks for a halloween card
Hay there!
Just an update on how things are moving forward!
For all you CANDLEMAN fans out there, you will be super glad to know that the next issue is well and truly on course for completion in time for BICS 2010 and will feature more wise cracking action than you can shake a candle at!
Also you lot of blog happy fools might find it of interest that there will be the release of a new character, THE MOOSE, at this years show and hopefully we (the CANDLEMAN crew) should be making our first stop at the Bristol Con in May of next year with the second part of A PAST LIGHT and with any luck an all new one shot adventure for CANDLEMAN called THE WISHING WELL, see the post before this for a glimps of the pencils!
I will go out on  limb here and say that I plan to have the start of the creation story for BICS 2011, but it is looking to be epic in the extreme, as in, it will make STAYING IN THE LIGHT look like something small and tiny, so the plan is to do it episodically, simply so there is something to buy for the next few years, the script is done and it weighs in at a hefty fifty plus pages, to give u an idea of what that means, SITL was only thirty... nuff said, as soon as Wishing Well is out of the way it shall be  the next thing to hit the drawing board, I promis.

Thats that
Chris P
